This is a plain-language summary of how Smart Creative Studios (“we”, “us”) handles your personal information. We follow Australian Privacy Act–aware practices and only collect what we need to help with your enquiry. This is placeholder content — have it reviewed before launch.

What we collect

When you contact us or use the studio assistant, we may collect:

• Your name and (optionally) business name
• Your email and, if you provide it, phone number
• Details about the project you’re enquiring about
• Your consent choices and the time they were given
• Basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used

We do not ask for sensitive information, and we never collect payment-card details through the website or the assistant.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
• To deliver any services you engage us for
• To send a confirmation and project summary
• Only with your separate consent: occasional tips and offers

Consent

We ask permission before saving your contact details. Consent to follow up about your project is kept separate from marketing consent — you can give one without the other, and you can withdraw marketing consent at any time.

How we store and protect it

Your information is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our service providers (such as our CRM and email tools). We limit access, validate and sanitise inputs, and redact sensitive values from our logs.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to assist you and meet our obligations. Abandoned briefs and assistant transcripts are subject to retention and deletion rules and are removed once they’re no longer required.

The studio assistant

Our assistant is an AI tool that helps scope your project. It’s clearly identified as an AI, only stores your details with your permission, and hands off to a person whenever you ask.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email studio@smartcreativestudios.com.au and we’ll help.
